GOUVERNEUR -- Paving is planned for Church Street, Dodge Place and Depot Street from Pooler to Dorwin on Tuesday, Oct. 7, and on Scotch Settlement and a section of Rowley Street from School Street to East Main Street Wednesday, Oct. 8, according to the Village of Gouverneur Department of Public Works Superintendent Danny Forbes.
Work will begin at 6 a.m. and continue throughout the day.
Inclement weather will change this schedule.
These streets will be shut down to thru traffic and only emergency vehicles will be allowed through.
Forbes said they regret any inconvenience and appreciate cooperation.
