PARISHVILLE – A sugar shack has been declared a total loss after it exploded and caught fire Saturday, according to St. Lawrence County fire investigators.
The Parishville Volunteer Fire Department responded at 8:32 p.m. to the structure at 44 County Route 47 owned by Janet Binan.
Firefighters returned to the station a 9:18 p.m.
Cause of the fire is under investigation, fire investigators said.
No injuries were reported. Investigators said they did not know whether the building was insured.
