PARISHVILLE -- After three years a Parishville duo has successfully reached the top of New York's 46 high peaks.
John Mahoney, 69, and Kathy MacKay, 54, of Parishville, recently climbed the last of the state's 46 high peaks Aug. 9.
Their final hike took them to the peak of Basin Mountain. Pictured is the pair at the top of Basin Mountain. Mount Marcy, New York's highest peak can be seen in the background.
The pair has been working toward this goal for the past three years.
