PARISHVILLE – A Parishville man is accused of putting a camera in a bathroom and recording a 13-year-old girl undressing.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s detectives and deputies arrested Tyson Hazelton, 32, and charged him with one count of unlawful surveillance in the second degree, a Class e felony, and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdeameanor.
It is alleged that Hazelton had placed a camera in a bathroom at a residence in parishville and recorded a female under the age of 13 while she was undressing without her knowledge or consent.
A warranted search of the residence revealed several electronic devices, which were seized.
Hazelton was arraigned in Parishville by Town Justice Frank Dunning and held in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond, to reappear at a later date.
Deputies say the investigation is continuing and further charges are pending.
