PARISHVILLE — Middle school students at Parishville-Hopkinton Central School will be welcomed by a new social studies teacher this fall.
Katherine Denny has been hired to teach at the school beginning in September, according to Parishville-Hopkinton Central School Superintendent Darin P. Saiff.
The hiring was approved by the Board of Education at a meeting Tuesday, July 5.
She will predominately teach seventh and eighth grade students, Saiff said.
Denny replaces Mary Keenan, who retired after teaching social studies for 30 years.
Denny resides in Potsdam.
