Parishville Area ATV Club took advantage of good weather in April

PARISHVILLE – The Parishville Area ATV Club enjoyed a full schedule of events in April.

On April 1, they took their first ride of the season on the property of club members Conrad and Yvonne Cook, riding trails and lunching at their camp. On the ride were 18 people and 10 ATVs. They report it was cold and raining, but they said everyone had a great time.

The club had a booth at the Massena Sportsman’s Expo on April 14 and 15, where 11 members shared duties. They are grateful for the help they got “in making this a successful event for our club. We had a great time and plan on attending again next year.”

On April 21, they had a booth at the Ogdensburg Sportsman’s Expo. This, another successful event, had nine members present.

The club took a ride to the Deer Valley Trails Restaurant April 28 for a buffet lunchoen. They invited Matt Doheney, Republican candidate for Congress, and his aid Ryan, on this ride. Also, Russell Finley, campaign manager for Karen Bisso, went along. Bisso is a candidate for the 115th Assembly District. There was a large turnout -- 68 riders and 45 ATVs. The weather was around 40, with sunshine all day.

The club is grateful to the Weller Mountain Club and their members Bob Meashaw and Albert Hundley for leading the group through Weller..
