The Parishville Area ATV Club has had a busy summer.

This is a summary of the rides and events for June and July.

• June 3: Weller Mountain spaghetti dinner and ride. Charles Schloer was ride leader as 20 ATVs, 31 riders, and many members drove 45 miles to the dinner. A total of 65 members attend dinner. The club thanks all the Weller Mountain members for the wonderful meal and ride through their club.

• June 16: Fort Jackson Park picnic and ride. Loren Sochia was ride leader, as 14 ATVs and 20 riders, and several members drove to the park. The weather was great for a picnic at the Fort Jackson Park. Lots of great food and fun. Members brought a dish to pass. Thanks go to Gus Woods and his son for their help in making the park available to the club.

• June 30: Star Lake ride and lunch at the Twin Lakes Inn. Ride leader was Phil Conger, with 19 ATVs and 27 members on this ride. It was a wonderful sunny day and an excellent ride. The club thanks the staff at the Twin Lake Inn for their hospitality.

• July 4: 4th of July Parade in Norwood. The club was invited to participate in the arade. There were 11 ATVs and 17 members attending, ranging in age from 3 to more than 70 years old. They had an excellent time, but the weather was extremely hot. They hope to attend next year, and to have more members ride.

• July 14: Night ride to Deer Valley Restaurant. Ride leader was Bob Meashaw, with 9 ATVs and 18 members. The afternoon was hot and the roads were very dusty for the ride to St. Regis Falls. The club thanks the staff at the Deer Valley Restaurant.

• July 28: Guy Niles camp picnic in Santa Clara. There were 29 ATVs and 34 members rode; several members met the group at Guy's camp, for a total of 51 members. It was a great feast with members bringing dishes to pass. The club thanks Guy and his wife for hosting the picnic once again.
