POTSDAM -- A pair of Potsdam men were jailed Monday without bail after leading St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies on a brief foot chase while officers were attempting to execute family court warrants.
Arthur J. Todd, 35 and Earl C. Todd, 36, both of 180 Emerson Rd., were charged with resisting arrest, officers said.
While executing family court warrants both men fled on food. Arthur Todd was taken into custody after a brief chase and Earl Todd was located in a wooded area near the scene with assistance from troopers and DEC officers, deputies said.
Both men were reportedly arraigned in St. Lawrence County family court and remanded to jail without bail.
The men will answer the resisting arrest charges in Potsdam Town Court, officers said.
Amy Risley, 24, Potsdam was charged with obstructing governmental administration for attempting to deceive deputies about the whereabouts of both suspects, officers said.
She was released on an appearance ticket returnable to Potsdam Town Court at a later date, officers said.
