MORRISTOWN -- The Village of Morristown and the Morristown Fire Department announce that they are sponsoring the ice skating rink behind the Morristown Fire Station at 200 Morris St. It is now open from 8 a.m. till 10 p.m. daily as long as the weather cooperates.
The ice rink is illuminated from 4:30 p.m. till 10 p.m. each night. The ice rink is open to the public. There are left- and right-handed hockey sticks, pucks and goals at the rink for the public to use.
Those who may need ice skates might find some available at the Morristown Village Clerk’s Office weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. These are free of charge.
For those children who are just learning to skate, there are three trainers at the rink. Everyone is welcome to stop in and use the ice rink.
