Troopers say 44-year old Bryan K. Lalonde damaged a vehicle belonging to another person by punching the driver’s side window, causing the glass to break.

During the incident Lalonde violated an order or protection as well, police said. The protection is valid until June 20, 2018.

The incident took place at a residence on Rufa Road shortly before 9 p.m.

Lalonde was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, felony, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, police said.

He was arraigned in Oswegatchie court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility without bail, officers said.

A stay away order of protection was issued in favor of the victim, troopers said.
