RENSSELAER FALLS -- The Village of Rensselaer Falls is looking at plans to rezone and has scheduled a Land Use Committee meeting for 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19 in the village office at 212 Rensselaer Street.
Discussion will focus on a draft zoning map that depicts residential, commercial and open space zoning districts, followed by a review of draft zoning text that will regulate uses in each district.
The meeting will be facilitated by staff from the St. Lawrence County Planning Office.
“This will be the second of three meetings facilitated by the County Planning Office,” said Mayor Jeffrey Dollinger. “Once we’ve finalized the revised text and zoning map, the Village will schedule a public hearing by the end of the year for the Planning Office to present the revised text and map for adoption.”
Rensselaer Falls Land Use Committee meetings are open to the public. Anyone who would like to learn more about the zoning revisions and participate in these discussions is encouraged to attend.
