NORWOOD -- An early morning fire on Spring Street reportedly caused severe damage to one apartment but firefighters were able to save two other apartments in the residence.
Norwood Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Jeremy French says the call came into the station at 4:30 a.m. and firefighters were on scene just three minutes later.
Firefighters were reportedly happy with the save which is credited to a quick response time, according to French.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation but officials say they are looking at the kitchen area as a possible source of the fire.
Fire investigators Brian Sullivan and Rick Coller were reportedly on scene.
The residence is reportedly owned by Panther Premium Properties in Brasher Falls
