OGDENSBURG -- The Northern New York Community Foundation recently gave $5,000 to assist the Frederic Remington Art Museum with their planning, according to the foundation.
“This grant in support of the Remington’s current strategic planning will help ensure that the wonderful tradition their organization can grow and thrive,” said Rande S. Richardson, foundation director.
Including this grant, the Community Foundation has provided over $40,000 in funding to support the museum.
The foundation also administers a permanent endowment fund for the Remington, established by initial gifts from Mary G. Colton and T. Urling and Mabel Walker.
