OGDENSBURG -- The Claxton Hepburn Medical Center Foundation board of directors has approved a new slate of officers.

Jim Chadwick will now be serving as chair, Connie Augsbury as vice-chair, and Cathy Piché serve as secretary/treasurer.

The foundation has also made some staffing changes. On June 23, James R. Michaels will become the executive director, as Cindy Clusen, who has served in that role for the past six years, is about to depart for a promotion opportunity as Glens Falls Hospital vice president of development.

Michaels has been the foundation’s assistant director for the past two years. Among his other duties, he will be managing the fundraising for expansion of the Richard E. Winter Cancer Center.

“We’re sorry to see Cindy leave. We’re happy to be in the capable hands of Jim Michaels who will be taking over the foundation as executive director. We won’t skip a beat with the Capital Campaign as well as in future endeavors,” Chadwick said.

The foundation has also promoted Krista Larock from foundation assistant to foundation coordinator. Among other duties, she will manage the medical center’s volunteer program.
