OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Area Zonta Club will continue its literary service project of collecting new and gently used children's books to be distributed throughout the community.

Last year's project saw approximately 2,000 books distributed to Well Child Clinics, Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center, the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club, Head Start at Kennedy Elementary School and the offices of local pediatricians.

Deliveries are made to all of these locations on at least a biweekly basis and children are given books to take home.

The Zonta Club plans to continue the project as long as donations continue to be made.

Donations can be given to any Zontian or dropped off at any of the current drop-box locations, including Wal-Mart, Julie's Dance Studio, Community Bank, Ford Street, Ogdensburg Dance Center and before 3 p.m. at the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club.
