OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Zonta Club is seeking nominations for the Young Women in Public Affairs Award.
Women of age 16-19 as of April 1, 2013 are eligible to apply.
Selection will be based on the following: active commitment to volunteerism, experience in local or student government, volunteer leadership achievements, knowledge of Zonta and advocating in Zonta’s International’s mission of advancing the status of women worldwide. Application are available on line at or by sending an inquiry with a self-addressed envelop to Harriett Beggs, 491 McCormick Road, Ogdensburg, NY 13669.
Completed applications must be returned to that address by Feb. 15.
