The Ogdensburg Zonta Club is seeking applications for a scholarship program for area high school students who will pursue higher education.

The award is based on scholarship, character, leadership, service to the school and the community as well as desire to succeed.

Applications are available from local guidance offices or by sending an inquiry with a self-addressed, stamped envelop to Harriett Beggs, 491 McCormick Road, Ogdensburg, NY 13669.

Completed applications must be returned to Beggs by April 12.
