OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Zonta Club is seeking applicants for the Jane M. Klausmen Women in Business Scholarship.

The scholarship is awarded to women undertaking business studies who have achieved an outstanding academic record and have demonstrated initiative, ambition and commitment to pursuing a career in business.

Any woman enrolled in a business and/or business related program at an accredited university, in at least the second year of an undergraduate program through the final year of a Master’s program at the time the application is submitted, is eligible to apply.

The application form may be found at www.zonta.org. It must be submitted to Elizabeth Tesiero at liz_tesiero@yahoo.com by Jul. 1.

The district winner will be selected by Sept. 1 and will receive an award of $1,000.

From the district winners, twelve international scholarships of $7,000 will be chosen.
