OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Area Zonta Club is accepting applications for the Young Women in Public Affairs (YWIPA) and Jean M. Coon awards.
The YWIPA award honors women 16-19 years old commited to leadership in public policy, government and volunteer organizations. The district recipient will receive $1000. Ten international recipients receive $4000.
The Jean M. Coon award is given to a high school junior or senior (male or female) who has demonstrated outstanding community service. The district recipient will receive up to $2000.
