OGDENSBURG -- An Ogdensburg woman was charged with sale of a controlled substance and criminal nuisance Tuesday.
Erika R. Shrader, 24, was charged after the Ogdensburg Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit and the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Monday on her apartment at 312 Knox Street, Apartment 3, according to Ogdensburg police.
Shrader allegedly sold crack cocaine in Ogdensburg, according to police.
The criminal nuisance charge stems from her conducting and maintaining an apartment where people gathered for the purposes of selling drugs, police said.
Shrader allegedly earned money from the sale of crack cocaine at her residence, police said.
The police are continuing to investigate Shrader and her associates for participating in crack cocaine sales for an outside drug trafficking organization.
She was held in the Ogdensburg Police Department lockup pending arraignment in Ogdensburg City Court, police said.
Participating agencies included the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, including the Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit and the Gouverneur Village Police Department.
