MADRID -- Canton-based state police have arrested 23-year-old Sierra R. Herbick, Ogdensburg, for burglary in the second degree.
The charge stems from a reported burglary early in the evening on March 30 at a residence on Cty. Rt. 14 in the town of Madrid.
Troopers said their investigation revealed Herbick forcibly entered the unoccupied residence and stole a television and money.
Herbick was arraigned in Town of Potsdam Court by Town Justice James Mason and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
Herbick is to appear in Town of Madrid Court on a date yet to be announced, for further proceedings.
