OGDENSBURG — An Ogdensburg woman was arrested Friday for possessing heroin and crack-cocaine with the intent to sell, according to state police.
Salean M. Simmons, 24, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, officers said.
The arrest stemmed from a search warrant execution at 608 Jersey Ave, police said.
The warrant was executed by members of the New York State Police Narcotics Enforcement Unit, the New York State Police Special Operations Response Team, the Ogdensburg Police Department, the Ogdensburg Police Narcotics Enforcement Unit, the Gouverneur Police Department, and the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force.
During the search of the residence, several individually wrapped bags of crack-cocaine and heroin were seized, troopers said.
Simmons was arraigned in the Ogdensburg court and released under the supervision of probation.
She is to answer the charges in court on Feb. 16 at 9 a.m.
