OGDENSBURG -- Salean M. Simmons, 24, Ogdensburg, was charged Friday with a drug-related felony and a misdemeanor following execution of a search warrant at 608 Jersey Ave.
Simmons has been arraigned in City of Ogdensburg Court on one count of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a Class B felony, and one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class A misdemeanor, according to state police.
The search warrant was executed by members of the New York State Police Narcotics Enforcement Unit, the New York State Police Special Operations Response Team, the Ogdensburg Police Department, the Ogdensburg Police Narcotics Enforcement Unit, the Gouverneur Police Department, and the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force.
During the search of the residence, several individually wrapped bags of crack cocaine and heroin were seized, troopers said.
After arraignment Simmons was released to the supervision of probation authorities. She is to reappear in the City of Ogdensburg Court ay 9 a.m. Feb. 16.
