OGDENSBURG – Ogdensburg voters chose Pamela J. Luckie for a five-year term on the Board of Education with 213 write-in votes.
Voters also approved the $45.2 budget 364 to 171. The budget will raise taxes by 2.58 percent.
Ogdensburg Public Library will also receive additional $75,000 from taxpayers after a referendum passed 274 to 257. Last year $50,000 was approved by taxpayers during last year’s school budget vote. With this approval the annual total will rise to $125,0000.
Luckie was employed by the district for 31 years, including 12 years as registered nurse/coordinator of health services, 10 years of teaching at all levels, and nine years in high school and middle school administration.
