OGDESNBURG – Several Volunteers have been honored by city council for their efforts to clean up the city’s Ford Family Vault.
Ogdensburg’s Pride and Beautification Commission joined with Northern Landscaping to accomplish the task.
Owner Paul Brown and his crew consisting of Rob Kimble, Mike Uncle, Dillon Brown, Marshall Brown, Jason Brenno, Justin Irish and Ryan Hurbert added landscaping stones and cleared debris and brush from the area to allow better public access to the historic site.
Ogdensburg Mayor William Nelson praised the volunteers for their service. He said the Ogdensburg Pride and Beautification Commission continues to raise funding in order to make the city a better place.
He said the city is blessed to have such generous residents.
Ogdensburg Historian Julie Madlin also created a historical video that gives background on the site. A QR code that can be scanned by smart phones is also located on the site. When scanned phones will bring visitors to the video.
