OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum has a new event and logo for its Remington Gala.
The new Harvest Moon event, a big fundraiser, will be Saturday, September 26.
Dana McCormick created the new logo using Adobe Photoshop and Easy PaintTool SAI.
She is a student at Ogdensburg Free Academy and is in an independent study with teacher Dianne Drayse Alonso. She will be a senior next year and will attend Pratt Art Institutes' pre-college summer program in Utica this summer.
The funds raised from Harvest Moon and its silent auction are vital to the museum's work of preserving, exhibiting and interpreting the art and archives of Frederic Remington, and to providing educational tours, hands-on art experiences, and other great experiences for children and their families at Kid’s Place, the museum's education center.
