OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg City Council will put two properties up for auction following public hearings held Monday at city hall.
The properties are on Ford and Ogden streets.
The Ford Street lot is located at 1130 and is 55 feet by 120 feet. It is in a residential/business zoning district. A minimum bid has been set at $4,000.
The Ogden Street lot is located at 902-904 and .3 acre. It in the mobile home zoning district. A minimum bid has been set at $4,500.
Ogdensburg has been working to sell excess city-owned properties so they can generate tax revenue. In Ogdensburg, only 41 percent of the city’s total assessed property value is taxable.
