OGDENSBURG – Ogdensburg is seeking developers interested in helping establish an “active senior living community” on its vacant property along the St. Lawrence River.
City officials have requested “expressions of interest” (EOI) from developers and Social Services organizations in a development partnership with the city and the National Development Council to establish, operate and eventually own an active senior living community.
The facility to be constructed along the shores of the St. Lawrence River on land currently owned by the city.
According to a posting on the city’s website, “The goal of this EOI process is to identify financially sound interested parties capable of performing all or a portion of the services required to program, develop, own, staff, operate and maintain the active senior living community.”
Those interested should contact City Planner Andrea Smith at 393-7150 or at asmith@ogdensburg.org. Responses are due April 15, 2014 at 3 p.m.
