OGDENSBURG -- The city school district is owed upward of $600,000 in unpaid taxes, according to the Sept. 6 school tax warrant issued at the Ogdensburg City School District Board of Education's Tuesday meeting.
The total taxes collected amounted to $6,718,578.77.
The list of unpaid taxes included $521,975.98 in unpaid taxes plus $26,098.80 of interest in the City of Ogdensburg; $146,063.68 in unpaid taxes plus $7,303.18 of interest in the Town of Oswegatchie; and $51.70 in unpaid taxes plus $2.59 of interest in the Town of Lisbon.
