OGDENSBURG – A sports merger request from Lisbon Central School District for the 2017-18 boys varsity hockey season was approved by the Ogdensburg City School District Board of Education at Monday’s meeting.
Per district sports merger policy, the request had the support of the athletic director, superintendent and head coach before it was brought to the board.
The combined teams application to be submitted to Section X indicated that Lisbon Central School expects two student athletes to participate in boys varsity hockey through the merger agreement with Ogdensburg Free Academy.
