OGDENSBURG – The Ogdensburg City School District Board of Education approved several personnel matters at Monday’s meeting.
The board approved the retirement of Director of Facilities III James McCarthy effective June 30, 2020. By then, McCarthy will have been employed by the district for 34 years.
Gregory White was appointed building maintenance helper at a salary of $44,462.31.
Raymond Love was appointed building maintenance man at a salary of $37,885.
The board also approved tenure to elementary teachers Justin Fishel and Mary Ouderkirk and teaching assistants Jamie Barkley, Brian Briggs, Nicole Myers and Jessica O’Grady.
Josiah Fifield, Matthew Sholette and Zachary Worden were appointed seasonal college student laborers at salaries of $10.40 per hour.
The resignation of elementary summer school teaching and readiness program teaching assistant was also approved, and Kira Hammond was appointed to the position at a salary of $10.40 per hour.
An assortment of co-curricular advisors in preparation for the 2018-19 school year were also appointed by the board at various salaries.
