Ogdensburg school board appoints several winter sports coaches

OGDENSBURG – An assortment of coaches for the upcoming winter sports season were appointed by the Ogdensburg City School District Board of Education at Monday’s meeting.

Head coaches appointed at salaries of $6,246 were John Tebo, boys varsity indoor track and field; Dianne Jeneault, girls varsity indoor track and field; William Mitchell, varsity wrestling; Jackie Pinkerton, varsity cheerleading; Mark Henry, boys varsity basketball; Douglas Loffler, girls varsity basketball; and Jonathan Frederick, boys varsity hockey.

Appointed at salaries of $4,684 were Christopher McRoberts, boys and girls varsity indoor track assistant coach; Ricky Ledwith, modified and junior varsity wrestling head coach; Scott Sargent, boys junior varsity basketball head coach; and Matthew Morley, boys varsity hockey assistant head coach.

Julie Hynes, boys and girls modified indoor track and field head coach, and Douglas Farley, boys eighth grade modified basketball head coach, were appointed at salaries of $3,434, respectively.

George Beaulieu was appointed eighth grade girls modified basketball head coach at a salary of $2,655, while April Spooner was appointed girls junior varsity basketball head coach at a salary of $2,535 and Jon Cole was appointed girls seventh grade modified basketball head coach at a salary of $2,061.

Rounding out the coaching appointments were Dakota Brady, boys seventh grade modified basketball head coach, at a salary of $1,859 and Brett Monnat, intramural weight training head coach, at a salary of $1,239.

In other district personnel matters, the board also approved the appointment of teaching assistant Mandy Roberts-Amo at a pro-rated salary of $23,006 as well as several part-time and substitute employees.
