OGDENSBURG -- RiverLedge Health Care and Rehabilitation Center and Veterans Affairs volunteers held a collection at the Ogdensburg Wal-Mart to benefit the United Service Organization at Fort Drum.
Participating Wal-Mart patrons received a list of possible items that they could purchase for troops and their families.
The in-kind gifts consisted of grocery items, office supplies, gift cards, paper products and dry goods.
RiverLedge Activities Director Larry Worden and Veterans Affairs volunteer Mike Sharland recently brought the donations to Fort Drum.
Transportation was provided by RiverLedge Health Care and Rehabilitation Center.
