OGDENSBURG -- The citizens of Ogdensburg now have another way to bring their concerns to the attention of the city government.
With the launch of the new website at www.ogdensburg.org, “Report a Concern” has been added for convenience and to move issues to the right department with the hope of efficiently tracking and completing requests faster.
On the home page, near the bottom left hand side, is the “Report a Concern” button. Clicking there brings up the Request Tracker page, with options under the heading “General Concerns.” Options are code violations, garbage or tall grass, general inquiry, street light outage, and requests for information. Others will be added as the website is further developed.
In “Report a Concern,” citizens must set up a user account, which requires first and last name, email, and preferred contact information. This way citizens can log into their accounts and track the status of concerns or inquiries.
Citizens are still able to call the Mayor’s Hotline at 393-1130 or directly to a city department.
For a list of departments and their contact information visit http://www.ogdensburg.org/directory.aspx.
If you have any questions regarding the use of “Report a Concern” or any other website inquiries, contact website administrator Patricia Paquin at 393-7900.
