OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad is recruiting members 18 years of age and older.
The squad is also seeking members from any community for their auxiliary to join ongoing fundraising and organizing events.
Those who are interested in joining can email secretary@ogdensburgrescue.org or president@ogdensburgrescue.org for an application.
The squad held a ribbon-cutting last August at its brand new facility at 1223 Pickering St.
"With the growing need for fundraising for our new location we are in desperate need of help," said the squad's William Lovely in an e-mail appeal.
Donations can be mailed to PO Box 172 Ogdensburg, NY 13669. Donations are tax deductible.
