OGDENSBURG -- City police say they are seeking a person of interest, seen above, who they believe is connected to the burning of a bench welcoming lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people to the Presbyterian Church.
The timestamp on the video from which the still was taken is around 2:54 a.m. Monday, shortly before Ogdensburg firefighters responded to the scene.
Don Kerr and Donna Maloney made the bench.
Kerr and Maloney reportedly plan to make a new bench to replace the one vandalized.
Ogdensburg police ask anyone with information on the bench burning to call them at 393-1555.
