OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Police Department is investigating a strong-arm robbery that happened at Nice and Easy on Sunday.
Police said an unknown white male entered the store and demanded money, or else he would shoot the clerk.
The clerk refused, the suspect went around the counter and the two got into a scuffle.
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The clerk was “slightly injured” and did not receive medical attention, police said.
City police patrols canvassed the area with a K9 unit and assistance from New York State Police and the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
The suspect is described at 5’10” or 5’11” tall, with hazel or green eyes and dark blonde eyebrows. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and a camouflage bandana, baggy tan-colored pants and dark-colored boots.
