OGDENSBURG -- JoAnn Douglas, Ogdensburg, was the grand-prize winner of an X-Box Kinnect gaming system as part of the Ogdensburg Parks & Recreation Department’s Walk to Fitness Program.
The program, held just for the month of May, saw people participate by walking, running or biking on the City’s Maple City Trail and place a slip in a drop box located past the Spring Street Bridge.
A total of 1,026 people, 145 of those being children 10 and under, participated. Each Monday in May, a variety of prizes were given away thanks to a grant from the Walmart Foundation.
