Ogdensburg police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by a subject wanted on an outstanding Ogdensburg City Court arrest warrant, officers said.
The vehicle initially refused to stop for officers before the pursuit ended in the driveway of 1416 Ford St., where the driver fled on foot.
A passenger, Samantha L. Herbick, 26, was taken into custody after interfering with the officer’s investigation and arrest of the wanted subject. A search warrant was executed at 1416 Ford St. where Todd J. L. Tyo, 28, was taken into custody without incident.
Herbick was charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest, police said.

Herbick was arraigned in Ogdensburg City Court and released under supervision of probation, police said.
Tyo was arraigned in Ogdensburg City Court and ordered held on $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond. He was released after bail was posted.
