OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg officials are asking residents to rate the city’s services using its “Citizens Survey,” now available online.
In the past, only a randomly selected group of residents were asked to participate, but with a survey now available on the city’s website the opportunity is being offered to all Ogdensburg residents
The specific purpose of the survey is to help evaluate, from a management perspective, how effective the city has been in advancing the following five goals:
• financially secure city government
• safe and secure community
• balanced, sustainable local economy
• revitalized aging neighborhoods and commercial areas
• beautiful city
The city is encouraging all residents to take a moment to complete the survey.
It can be found online at the City’s website, www.ogdensburg.org, click on “Residents” at the top right side, and then click on “Citizens Survey.”
Residents have the option of hard copy, electronically, or there is now an option to fill it out via the website and submit it automatically. If you do not have computer or online access, please contact us. The survey will be available and hard copies accepted until Aug. 31.
As Ogdensburg begins its 2016 strategic planning, budgeting and capital plan, officials say they will strive to meet or exceed the needs of the community.
“We want to thank you for taking the time to complete this survey, your opinion counts and we really look forward to hearing from you,” a release from City Manager John Pinkerton says.
