OGDENSBURG -- Mayor Wayne Ashley honored Ogdensburg City Deputy Mayor Michael Morley and Councilor Brian Mitchell for their service to city government Monday.

Morely was recognized for his work on the Boardwalk, Dobisky Visitor Center, waterfront redevelopment master plan, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Paterson Street Project, Regional Economic Development Plan, neighborhood revitalization programs and enhancing living conditions for residents.
Mitchell served four years the council.
The plaque gifted to Mitchell by the mayor offered appreciation for his work on promoting community programs, the wastewater treatment plant, Paterson Street Project, Waterfront revitalization and more.
Mayor Wayne Ashley offered praise to both, adding that their presence on the board would be missed.
“It’s bittersweet,” he said.
