POTSDAM -- Aaron J. Hall, 23, Ogdensburg, was charged by Potsdam police with disorderly conduct Friday afternoon while carrying an air rifle that looked like an assault rifle.
Police issued him an appearance ticket at 3:19 p.m. after investigating a complaint of a man wearing a black face mask and a hoodie who was sitting on a picnic table in the Stewart’s Shop parking lot on Market Street while holding a rifle.
“The rifle in question was determined to be an air powered paintball gun that was designed to look like an M4 style assault rifle,” the police report said.
