OGDENSBURG — An Ogdensburg man was killed when his truck crashed into a tree on SH 812 Thursday night, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Craig W. Sharpe, 36, was killed approximately one mile from the CR 16 intersection, deputies said.
He was driving his 2016 Chevy truck north when his vehicle exited the right side of the road and stuck a tree, officers said.
Sharpe was transported to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room, deputies said.
Sheriff’s were assisted on scene by state police, Rensselaer Falls Fire and Rescue, and DeKalb Fire and Rescue.
Deputies say their investigation is ongoing.
