OGDENSBURG – An Ogdensburg man was jailed on Saturday for possession of numerous components used to manufacture methamphetamine, according to the Ogdensburg Police Department Criminal Investigations and Narcotics Unit.
Investigators said they charged Mark A. Brossoit, 51, 821 Main St., with third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, felony, seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
The arrest reportedly stemmed from an investigation by the Ogdensburg narcotics unit and the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force.
Members of the narcotics unit and task force executed a search warrant with the assistance law enforcement from the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department Gouverneur Police Department, investigators said.
Brossoit is currently being held in Ogdensburg City lockup awaiting arraignment, police said.
