Ogdensburg man jailed for allegedly stealing several thousand dollars worth of electronics from Massena Wal-Mart

MASSENA -- An Ogdensburg man who allegedly stole several thousand dollars worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart has been jailed on two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny and one count of petit larceny, according to village police.

According to court documents, Brian L. Middlemiss, 24, of 426 Clark St., Ogdensburg took $1,477.87 worth of merchandise on June 7 that included a display model TV, a surround sound stereo system, and a set of Bob Marley headphones. He is further alleged to have taken unspecified merchandise valued at $1,195.96 on April 24 and $834 worth on April 12, police said.

Middlemiss was held at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton, in lieu of $5,000 bail, pending a pre-trial hearing, police said.
