OSWEGATCHIE -- An Ogdensburg man was jailed Sunday for allegedly driving his vehicle at the mother of his children while the children were present during a domestic violence incident June 25, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.

Robert P. Purser, 27, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, second-degree reckless endangerment and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Purser violated a family court order of protection, officers said.

He was arraigned in Morristown court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail on $2,500 bail.
