OSWEGATCHIE -- An Ogdensburg man was injured after he collided with another vehicle while operating a motorcycle at 9:40 p.m. Sunday on State Highway 68.
Joseph A. Peets, 30, was traveling west on State Highway 37, in the town of Oswegatchie. As he entered the intersection with State Highway 68, a vehicle driven by Patricia L. Pierce, 28 of Richville, made a left turn in front of Peets, causing Peets to collide with Pierce’s car.
Peets was ejected from his bike.
He was transported by ambulance to Claxton Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg with multiple injuries.
Pierce was issued tickets for failure to yield the right of way at an intersection, aggravated unlicensed operation and uninspected motor vehicle, all returnable to Town of Oswegatchie Court.
