DEKALB – An Ogdensburg was charged with driving while intoxicated after he drove his vehicle through an occupied home Friday at 11:46 p.m.
Bryan J. Moore, 38 of 14 Canada Circle, Ogdensburg, was charged with driving while intoxicated after he drove his vehicle through a house while the residents were sleeping. St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies say Moore was driving down county Route 17 when he passed a stop sign and drove directly into a house that sits across from the intersection.
Moore allegedly drove through the exterior wall, into the living room and partially through the back wall of the home.
Deputies say the home was occupied by a 29 -year-old pregnant women and her 4-year-old daughter, who were sleeping in a bedroom adjacent to the living room. Both remained unharmed despite the vehicle tearing through their home.
The home and car were destroyed. Moore was also ticketed for failure to stop and was ordered to appear in court at a later date.
