OSWEGATCHIE -- An Ogdensburg man was charged Thursday with operating a vessel while intoxicated Thursday following a boating May 28 just outside Ogdensburg, according to state police
David C. Larose, 51, of Ogdensburg was charged with operating a vessel while intoxicated.
The boat had four passengers on board, including Larose, when it ran aground, officers said.
All occupants on the boat were transported to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center where they were treated and released for non life-threatening injuries.
State police were assisted on scene by the Ogdensburg Police Department and the U.S. Border Patrol.
Larose was processed at the state police station in Ogdensburg and issued an appearance ticket to appear in Oswegatchie Town Court June 15 at 5 p.m.
