OGDENSBURG – The search of a Patterson Street apartment resulted in the arrest an Ogdensburg man who is charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamines, a Class D felony, and two Class A misdemeanors, seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle.
Allen C. Redmond, 50, of 219 Paterson Street Apt. #6, was also charged the violation of unlawful possession of marijuana after execution of a search warrant for his home Wednesday by members of the Ogdensburg Police Department with assistance of the St. Lawrence County Drug Task force and New York State Police CCERT, according to Det. Jarret LeClair of Ogdensburg police.
“Intel gathered from the Ogdensburg Police Department's Criminal Investigations Unit along with the Ogdensburg Police road patrol, prompted the investigation into the aforementioned location and subsequently a search warrant was executed,” the press release from police said.
LeClair said Redmond was awaiting arraignment in city court Thursday afternoon.
